We are glad to welcome you on the website of the Department of "Media Systems and Technologies" of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.
Our Department has been preparing specialists for the publishing and printing industry and the IT-sphere of our country for over 20 years.
In accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine № 266 dated April 29, 2015 "On approval of the list of fields of knowledge and Specialities, in which the training of applicants for higher education is carried out" since 2016 we have been preparing Bachelors and Masters by the Speciality 186 "Publishing and Printing" educational programs: "Technology of Electronic Multimedia Publications", "Computer Technologies and Systems of Publishing and Printing Industries", "Technologies of Printed Publications".

We conduct the training process by this Speciality in close cooperation with the leading Universities of Ukraine such as National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", the Ukrainian Academy of Printing, as well as with the leading European Universities such as the Stuttgart Media University (Germany), the Warsaw University of Technology (Poland). In 2017, it was signed a Double Certification Agreement. Our students got a European Diploma from the University of Economics (Bydgoszcz, Poland) in Specialization "Information Technology in the Media Industry". Since 2019, an agreement has been signed with the Kaunas University of Applied Sciences.
The teachers of the Department do not only help to get professional knowledge in this Speciality, but also teach general education disciplines such as "Mechanics", "Engineering and Computer Graphics" for students of all Specialities of the University.
In recent years, we have been paying attention to the training of specialists not only in the field of traditional printing technologies, but also in the field of technologies of the developing electronic and multimedia publications and information products (advertising, etc.), WEB-systems (including UI / UX design), mobile applications with animation capabilities, etc.
The main features of our teachers are high professionalism and openness of their tutoring approach.
